Hi Church, It is so good to be sharing devotions with you today. I hope your 21 days of prayer and fasting are going well, hang in there, I’m believing God is going to continue to do great things and show you more of His heart as you make space for Him.

2 Peter 3:9 says, “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance”

As I think about this verse and as we look at what God is doing in our church and the many salvations we have seen over even just the last 12 months, I am challenged to think about the 1000’s of people in our cities who don’t know Jesus yet. Sometimes if we’re not careful, we can think of “non-Christians” as a people group or a demographic that we are opposed to. But we should be thinking about the people in our city as people who have not yet come to faith, and praying for them that they would have a revelation of who God is, how He loves them and the fulfillment they can find in relationship with Him.

So, today as we pray I’d like us to pray for eyes that see the lost the way God does, and hearts that long for people to find faith and fulfillment through salvation in Jesus Christ.

Pray for those in your world who don’t know Jesus yet. Your family, your neighbours, your work colleagues. Pray for salvation and a true revelation of who Jesus is.
Pray for our cities. Pray that as a church we can be a part of meeting needs, helping the vulnerable and in turn, pointing people to Jesus.
Pray for our nation and the mission field that is ripe for harvest at this time. Pray that in these desperate and uncertain times our nation will turn to God and look to Him for meaning and purpose in this season. Pray for the hurting and marginalised that they will not be overlooked in our society.
Pray for all of our campuses and locations that will see a great increase of salvation in our services and the church being mobilised to bring their friends and family to Christ.
