Hi and welcome to 21 days of Prayer and Fasting at !Audacious Church.
My name is Manny or Emmanuel. I am a small group leader here at !Audacious church and I also serve on the Protective Services and New to Faith teams at Manchester Central.
During these 21 days, we are believing for the !Audacious things that God has prepared for us—the miracles, the healings, the breakthroughs, the salvations, and the restorations.
The anchor scripture for these 21 days is 1 Corinthians 2:9 – “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has conceived the things God has prepared for those who love him.”
In September 2021 following the completion of my Masters, I found myself continuing in my job as a security officer. The next few months were very difficult, I was supposed to begin my law career, but I felt stuck not being able to access the next level.
I remember not having come back to Christ at that point, but getting the urge to pray. I asked God for a role in my field because I was becoming depressed with the same mundane non-challenging tasks.
I remember chalking up the prayer and thinking, “Well, at least I tried”. Little did I know that God was waiting for me to go to Him, so He could let the blessing come to me.
Fast forward to Dec 2021 and I found myself receiving a job offer, with my dream firm, with no interview needed, just a straight start date. I was shocked, little did I know that, that was the beginning of my faith journey. Now I have been at that firm for 4 years, and I am a permanent employee.
Isaiah 40:3 tells us to “prepare the way for the Lord”, verse 5 then says “And the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all people will see it together.”.
Today I want to encourage you, God wants to bless you and bless you abundantly, my question to you is, are you preparing a way for the blessing? Are you playing a role in ensuring that the plane is cleared for landing?
Ask God today, what can I do to allow your blessings to land in the runway of my life?
